Negation

La Négation


La négation se
place toujours entre le sujet et le verbe.

Elle se colle à
l’auxiliaire quand il y en a un ou vole la marque de conjugaison au
verbe.


Il faut donc partir de
la phrase affirmative :

phrase
affirmative : Sujet + Verbe conjugué

et prendre la marque de conjugaison ou l’auxilaire :

phrase
négative : -> Sujet + Aux+not+ Base Verbale


Exemples :

Temps
 :

  • présent
    simple : He likes branded clothes.->     He
    doesn’t like normal clothes.

  • Préterit
    simple : He liked branded clothes ->     He
    did not like branded clothes.


Aspect :

  • Présent
    Be+ing : He is reading a newspaper ->     He
    is not reading a newspaper.

  • Present
    Perfect : He has bought a magazine ->     He
    has not bought a magazine.


Modaux :

  • Mary
    can change her make up -> She cannot/ can’t change her make up

  • He
    would manipulate the reader ->     He
    would not manipulate the reader.

  • Peter
    will read more often ->     Peter
    will not read more often.


Attention,
on ne peut pas avoir deux marques de négation dans une
phrase.(en mathématique,
- *- = +)


exemple : Je
n’aime personne = I don’t like anybody = I like nobody.

  1. Personne n’a cru à cette publicité.

  2. Les parents ne devraient pas laisser leurs enfants
    regarder les programmes pour enfants seuls.

  3. La journalist recommende aux enfants de ne pas croire
    aux messages transmis par les publicités à la
    télévision.

  4. Les clients n’écoutent ni la publicité ni
    les vendeurs.
